Teignbridge District Council Play Area
We were successful in winning the tender for the redevelopment of Ashburton Road play area awarded by Teignbridge District Council. The equipment is a mix of our timber play equipment and seating, and steel play equipment provided by various 3rd party manufacturers.
The play area is well known among local residents as the “figure of eight” park as in previous years the play area featured a tarmac pathway shaped like the number 8, for use with bikes and scooters. That has been lost over time. We wanted to bring back this iconic feature of the play area and did so by also adding our supercool play motorcycle combined with our timber roadway set.
Inspiring imaginative play for all ages, these make a unique addition to any play area. The entire play area was given a brand new look and feel with new safety surfacing a mix of wetpour and rubber mulch. The equipment was split into zones with inclusive play central to the play area.
Each play zone includes a wow feature for all ages to enjoy. Landscaping items including sense totems, play panels and the engraved archway with totems complete the playground complementing the surrounding area.
